Roger was a beloved member of the This Old House family for nearly 40 years, and his expertise and passion for landscaping will be deeply missed.
A Massachusetts Native and Landscape Contractor
Roger was born in Massachusetts and began his career in landscaping at an early age. He joined This Old House in 1985 and quickly became an indispensable member of the team.
For more than 35 years, Roger provided expert advice and guidance on all aspects of landscaping, from design and installation to maintenance and care.
He was also a regular contributor to This Old House magazine and website, and his articles were always filled with practical tips and insights.

Roger was more than just a landscape contractor; he was a true friend to everyone on the This Old House team.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and his positive attitude and infectious laugh will be deeply missed.
