Becomes First Side to Finish Competition Undefeated

Roma has won the UEFA Europa Conference League, defeating Fiorentina 2-1 in the final in Tirana, Albania. Nicolò Zaniolo scored the winning goal in the 62nd minute, giving Roma its first major European trophy since the 1961 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.

Roma went undefeated throughout the competition, winning six of its seven matches and drawing one. The club's only other appearance in a European final came in the 1991 UEFA Cup, where it lost to Inter Milan.

Fiorentina was making its first appearance in a European final. The club had a strong run in the competition, winning four of its seven matches and drawing three.

The victory gives Roma a place in next season's UEFA Europa League. Fiorentina will have to qualify for the competition through its league finish.
